Call for Evidence

Between October and December 2014, the Centre for Policy on Ageing (CPA), acting on behalf of the Local Government Association (LGA) issued a call for evidence on strategic approaches that could be adopted by local authorities and their partners, to address both the immediate and longer-term transition towards an ageing population and society. The evidence sought descriptions and views of what local authories are, and should be, doing to address the future needs and aspirations of older people.

The results of this call for evidence have fed into a report from a Local Government Association Task and Finish Group on local government's response to an ageing society.
