The role of the e-SAP subgroup was to identify models for implementing electronic SAP and to understand status, plans, success factors, barriers and issues.
A survey questionnaire instrument was developed by the sub-group to send to localities identified as having implemented an electronic SAP solution where some progress was being made (particularly across the NHS and social care).
The survey results were analysed and presented together with a summary of available evaluation reports from individual localities.
The work of this subgroup has been taken forward by the CfH e-SAP implementation project.
