| Annotation | This paper was produced using data collected by the London Research Centre's Care Homes Information Network (CHIN). It gives an analysis of residential care home fees in resources on the CHIN database for the following client groups: elderly people, people with learning disabilities, and people with physical disabilities. It concentrates primarily on the situation in London, with general comparisons with counties in southeast England. The data is compared with studies carried out by Laing and Buisson as well as previous research by the London Research Centre. It has been produced annually since the combined 1993/94-1994/95 edition with slight variation of title. It has a restricted circulation.
