Annotation | The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) Program - initiated under a 2-year grant from the US Administration on Aging - is designed to increase older residents' ability to "age in place" in housing for older people. The programme's key component is the on-site appointment of a Resident Services Coordinator, a social services professional. Evaluation of the programme demonstrated the importance of on-site co-ordination for both older residents and housing management. The implications of the programme for shaping housing policy are presented. (RH). |
