Annotation | Given the inadequacies of orthodox medicine voiced at this conference, the case is put for a single standard of provision across "orthodox" and "complementary and alternative medicine" (CAM). Speakers represented the patient's perspective, a multidisciplinary approach, a purchaser's view, and the general practitioner's (GP) perspective. Eight focus groups discussed the pros and cos of CAM. A keynote speech was also delivered by the then Secretary of State for Health, Frank Dobson. (RH). |
