AnnotationThe Programme (which ran from May 1994 to December 1998) had as its objective the development of innovative and cross-disciplinary research in the study of economic choice, to include the theory of rational choice. Strands of the research of interest to ageing concern: governance, regulation, and accountability; and social inclusion and exclusion. Specific projects are outlined, and include attitudes and behaviour towards financial planning for care in old age. (RH).
