AnnotationThis book is a slim filofax-sized binder with plastic file pockets containing pages to be completed, by a relative, friend or carer and the older person whose memories are being recorded. This book has a dual function; to record memories of the older person who may be experiencing memory loss or confusion for friends and relatives; and as an aid to new carers within care organisations to enhance communication between themselves and their clients. After extensive research it is thought that the book represents a balance between "opening a window onto someone's life" and yet maintaining the person's right to privacy. (KJ).
