AnnotationEveryone should be involved in enabling older people to have greater opportunity and equality, a greater contribution to society, a better quality of life, and a much stronger voice. This lecture, funded by the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust, considers older people's needs in four main policy areas of health, social care, finance and employment. However, older people should also have the right to speak for themselves: Baroness Pitkeathley outlines why she believes that it is extremely important that there are organisations which are controlled by older people themselves.
