Annotation | The United Nations (UN) and its 185 governments designated 1999 as the International Year of Older Persons (IYOP): Towards a Society for All Ages. The NGO (non-governmental organisations) Committee on Aging celebrated that decision with this videoconference, where six countries (Chile, China, Egypt, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Switzerland) reported on their top priorities for action in the future - after 1999.
