Annotation | Involving family carers is a central part and focus of person centred care. This publication seeks to help staff to increase the involvement of family carers, where appropriate, in doing activities with people with dementia, whether the person with dementia lives in the community or in a long term care setting. It offers practical ideas and suggestions and looks at some of the research in the area of carer involvement. The perspectives of those involved are explored. (RH). |
