Annotation | With an ever increasing number of older people projected in the next 30 years, countless relocation and transfer decisions will be required in order to provide proper housing and health care. The realities of caregiving to older people will require attention to the decision-making process and ethical issues surrounding such transfers. This paper identifies various instances when relocation and transfer occur. It introduces a practice model to assist service providers in considering the ethical dimensions of the decision-making process. (RH). |
