Annotation | The aim of the Centre for Policy on Ageing (CPA) in drawing up the new National Required Standards for residential and nursing homes for older people was to lay down standards which are reasonable and acceptable practice. Facing increasing competition, care home proprietors fighting against the proposed standards on minimum room size are being short-sighted. (RH). |
