Annotation | The earlier "Protocol for investment in health gain: oral health" has been revised to provide clear statements, indicating the strength of the evidence and its sources for each statement, and introducing subjects of current interest. Eight subject areas are covered: tooth decay; peridontal diseases; dentofacial anomalies; oral cancer; temporomandibular joint disorders and complex facial pain; tooth wear and hypersensitivity; dental injuries; and inherited dental anomalies. The contents of this bulletin are likely to be valid for around one year, by which time significant new research evidence may have become available. (RH). |
