KeywordsRespiratory tract diseases ; Research Reviews ; Wales.
AnnotationThis document deals with the management of the more common respiratory diseases. It does not include cancers of the respiratory tract (to be considered in a Cancers Bulletin). Because respiratory diseases are so common, a large and growing body of evidence exists about the effectiveness of different forms of treatment. The purpose of this document is to review the ways in which these diseases are managed, in terms of the quality of evidence for believing that any given treatment is effective. The contents of this bulletin are likely to be valid for around one year, by which time significant new research evidence may have become available. (RH).
