AnnotationOlder Americans of Mexican origin will constitute an ever-growing fraction of the older population in the US, which is likely to affect demand for health and long-term care provision. Two data sources are used in this discussion of the demography of Mexican-American ageing and its social consequences: PUMS-O - The public use microdata for persons 60 years and over; and Hispanic Established Populations for Epidemiological Studies of the Elderly (H-EPESE).
