Annotation	The 1997 White Paper, "The new NHS: modern, dependable" and the 1998 Green Papers, "Our healthier nation", and "A first class service: quality in the new NHS" provide frameworks for improving health services. Agencies involved in social care, local government, the voluntary and community sectors, and the like all have a role to play. Such a vision for partnership between the NHS and other agencies has been developed by the NHS Executive, North Thames. This resource aims to provide a flexible tool for developing and supporting effective partnership working. It refers to specific case examples.
