AnnotationThe care needs of the different countries, the size of the problem as perceived by them, and the provision made to meet these needs within their social framework formed the basis of this study. Convention 102, concluded between the countries of the EEC embodies common objectives: adjustment of pensions to cost of living; priority claim for for help at home; accommodation; creation of adequate institutions for treatment of chronic diseases; and pre-retirement training. These are examined in relation to Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. (RH).
