Annotation | A one and a half year faculty in-service geriatric / gerontological training project whose goal was to integrate ageing-related content into the existing curricula of two "sister" institutions is described. Results of a pre-test/post-test analysis showed that the participating faculty significantly increased their knowledge of geriatrics and gerontology after the didactic training, and subsequently were successful in integrating geriatrics and gerontology content into their own course syllabuses. A manual listing the steps required in replicating the project and a resource manual for faculty participants were products of this project. (RH). |
