Annotation | This circular sets out arrangements for the disbursement of the drugs and alcohol specific grant for 1999/2000. £720,000 of the total £2.5 million allocated to the grant has been transferred to the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) to support the government's Homeless Initiative for London. The remaining £1.78 million is being made available to support homelessness projects in areas outside Greater London and other drug/alcohol projects throughout England. (RH). |
