Annotation | The Public Health Nutrition Unit at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and HelpAge International have carried out a research programme to find a simple but effective way of using anthropometric measurements to assess malnutrition in older people in developing countries. The relationship between nutritional status and functional ability, and associated risks of mortality and morbidity were also examined. Speakers at the Symposium reported on progress with the project. (RH). |
