AnnotationThe subject of this inspection was a visit to current services for older people, and an examination of future plans for services provided by Renfrewshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Argyll and Clyde Health Board. The main findings are described as follows: planning and commissioning; leadership and management; quality of care and services; quality of life; and site profiles of Johnstone, Hawkhead, Royal Alexandra, Ravenscraig, and Bridge of Weir Hospitals. The report makes recommendations including: developing a strategy for older people's services; development of joint standards with service users; and reviewing and monitoring policies concerning quality of care.
