Annotation | In the period of life known as "late adulthood", many people who choose and are able to travel do so for reasons that may not have been apparent during other periods of their lives. They frequently travel as part of the "life review" process - a form of "pilgrimage" - in which past experiences may be relived. This article, written from an Australian perspective, explores how travel can help older learners through a "self-actualisation" process. (RH). |
