Annotation | Why do older adults participate in certain lifelong learning courses and not in others? The authors examine studies on lifelong learning from around the world. They consider access to education, the variables which affect participation, and the barriers to participation. They conclude that as the numbers of older people increase, educational providers must have a better and continued understanding of older people's needs, interests, and motivations. (RH). |
