Annotation | The results of five focus group discussions with older men (age 60+) in the South Arcot Vallalar district of Tamil Nadu are presented. The issues discussed were: attitudes towards family type; attitude towards consanguineous and non-consanguineous marriages; and attitudes towards working daughters-in-law. These issues are discussed in the light of their importance with the care given to older relatives by their families. (RH). |
