AnnotationIt is important for services providers to have some way of including the views of people with dementia, when evaluating the services being provided for them, and to extend users' surveys in ways which address the particular issues involved. A day hospital in West Yorkshire was determined to try and extend its consumer view survey to those with dementia. The author summarises the small amount of research literature available on listening to people with dementia, which points to the issues to be borne in mind. (RH).
