Annotation | The cost of provision of long term care for older people has been widely covered in the media. The Conservative government produced a Green Paper on how such costs may be funded, but then stepped back from any commitment to legislation prior to the general election. This article summarises the complexities and problems with methods of funding provision available, and asks how anyone can plan for long-term care. (RH). |
