Annotation | This issue is the second of three parts of "Preparing participants for intergenerational interaction: training for success". The purposes of this three-part manual are to provide a brief introduction to intergenerational programmes and to present a manual designed to assist in training volunteers. This second part puts the case for sensitivity and knowing one's audience, particularly with regard to the "generation gap". Chapters focus on understanding and mentoring at-risk youth; ageing sensitivity; and racial and ethnic understanding. (RH). |
