AnnotationThe London Domiciliary Care Forum (LDCF) was commissioned by the Association of Directors of Social Services (ADSS) to revise the London Domiciliary Care Initiative, a system for the voluntary accreditation of domiciliary care organisations across London, published in 1993. This document contains the revised standards, which have been endorsed by the ADSS and the London Heads of Inspection. It is divided into four sections: background to and philosophy behind the standards; the process of accreditation; standards for accreditation, including fitness of proprietor, fitness of manager, fitness of business, fitness of premises, fitness of staff, and care standards; and guidance notes.
