Annotation | A postal survey of all front-line staff with a care management role in Wales was conducted in 1995, with a selected sample follow-up in 1997. The aim was to investigate practitioner experience of the community care reforms. This bulletin summarises findings on practitioners' perceptions of the quality of services, whether the aims of community care were being met, and factors hindering effective care management practice. However, the results should be treated with some caution, given the low response rates of 31% and 30% for the two surveys. (RH). |
