Annotation | The idea for Brighton and Hove Older Peoples' User Panels (OPUP) - which were set up during 1995/96 - was developed from preliminary work by the local authority Community Development Team and directors of Age Concern in Brighton and Hove. This report outlines OPUP's aim `to enhance the health and social well-being of the older population of Brighton and Hove', and its principles and objectives. Long-term targets (relating to in-patient care, transport, information, and Direct Payments Scheme) and short-term targets (including the home help service) are outlined. (RH). |
