| Annotation | Health promotion among older people needs to be a greater priority among nurses and other professionals, in order to meet the challenge of an increasing older population. This article describes concepts and the need for health promotion, also the skills required. The author suggests that the process should be used to aid self-empowerment and to create a more positive image of old age. (RH). |
