Annotation | An evaluation of an innovative, voluntary sector service for people with dementia was carried out by researchers from the Dementia Services Development Centre, University of Stirling. The service is based on DSDC's training pack, "Not them and us - simply us: a training pack for staff doing activities for people with dementia". In this article, the author reports on the views of services users and, in particular, their enthusiasm for what the service did for them. (RH). |
