Annotation | The effectiveness of an exercise intervention for people in early and mid-stage Parkinson's disease (PD) in improving spinal flexibility and physical performance in a sample of community-dwelling older people is described in this article. A total of 51 older men and women participated in the study. Results demonstrated that improvements in neck and back mobility and physical performance can be achieved with a 10-week exercise programme for people in the early and mid-stages of PD. (AKM). |
