Annotation | Changes in the provision of health and care services are leading to the creation of new opportunities for voluntary organisations and volunteers. This booklet was prepared as the result of a meeting which brought together a group of volunteer organisers from primary health care team projects. The booklet describes the nature of the partnerships developed, some of their strengths and weaknesses, and suggests how they might be improved. The central theme of the meeting - reflected in this booklet - is the prime importance of establishing satisfactory working partnerships, and of encouraging volunteers accordingly. (RH). |
