AnnotationPsychological treatments with older people were evaluated against criteria developed by the Division of Clinical Psychology of the American Psychological Association (APA) for documenting effective psychosocial interventions. This review encompasses treatments for depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, alcohol abuse, dementia, and for stresses associated with being a caregiver of an older person.
