AnnotationThe Age Awareness project was set up in 1995 by Methodist Homes for the Aged and the Christian Council on Ageing, facilitated by a grant from the Sir Halley Stewart Trust. The main objective of the project is to increase the understanding of the spiritual needs of older people. This fifth booklet of ten is written for people facing terminal illness and those who care for them. The feelings and needs of the terminally ill person are explored, including the physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The way in which terminal illness changes priorities and enhances the importance of the present moment is acknowledged. (AKM).
