Annotation | The subject of this SHAS review was an examination of future plans for services for older people in the East of Glasgow and a visit to current services. A brief profile is given for each of the three hospitals and one nursing home visited during the review: Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Lightburn Hospital, Canniesburn Hospital, and Greenfield Park Nursing Home. The main findings of the review are described under four main headings: planning and commissioning of services; leading and managing the service; quality of care and service; and quality of life. Action had taken place on many of the recommendations made before final publication of this report. (RH). |
