Annotation | The University of Georgia Gerontology Outreach Program's need assessment model is designed to be process- and outcome-oriented, ongoing, and based on the input from a variety of constituents. In the last of three articles, synthesis of the results from focus groups and a telephone survey are informed by gerontology core principles. Qualitative data from the focus groups provided the opportunity for elaboration of issues identified through the telephone survey. The educational model presented in this article addresses pertinent issues, as well as a multi-level curriculum for three levels of trainees in gerontology. (RH). |
