Annotation | Folie à deux (insanity of two) is a rare disorder involving delusional beliefs shared by two persons. This article reports on three cases of older couples referred to an Australian psychogeriatric service during an 18-month period with this disorder, and discusses the salient clinical features and the possible risk factors for folie à deux in older people.
