| Annotation | The European Platform of Seniors' Organisations (EPSO) organised a series of European and Regional Conferences in Copenhagen in 1994, and in Bonn, Toulouse and Brussels in 1995. The aim was to bring together representatives of older people to discuss European social policy and the implementation of the results and conclusions of the European Year of Older People. The Older Women's Network, Europe (OWN) was invited to take part in these conferences, and this document presents reports of OWN representatives' addresses. These variously make points concerning: the role of women in society; access to housing, transport, social services, education, leisure facilities, and health services; and reasons why there is a need for an older women's network.
