Annotation | As the initial point of contact for most people with mental health difficulties, general practitioners (GPs) play a key role in determining the nature of service provision. For this reason, it is important to explore GPs' attitudes to the various secondary services and the circumstances under which they would refer clients to them. This evaluation looks at which services GPs already use for older patients with mental health problems, which additional services they would value, and what factors influence their choice of service.
