Annotation | Health authorities are required, from 1 April 1998, to make their inspection reports available to the public, matching the requirement for local authorities to publish their residential home inspection reports. With open reporting now in place in both local and health authorities, inspection units should work together to ensure a common approach. Joint inspection of dually registered premises should be possible; and there should be some consistency in inspection reports. This circular should be cancelled on 31 March 2001.(RH). |
