| Annotation | The Community Care Special Transitional Grant for 1998/99 will be £350 million, with the object of providing continuing stability in implementation of the community care reforms. This circular announces the continuation of the Grant in 1998/99; provides each local authority in England with its indicative allocation in respect of the Grant; sets out the methodology used to calculate the indicative allocations; and specifies the conditions which will be attached to the Grant. The circular will be be cancelled on 1 April 1999. (RH). |
