Annotation | There is an unfinished debate on educational gerontology; and we must find a way of establishing a theory about education for older people, that faces the difficult questions raised. We can no longer rely on anecdotal evidence and self-evaluation. Progress since the late 1970s is examined. This paper was presented at the Association for Educational Gerontology (AEG) Annual Conference at Keele University in July 1997. (RH). |
