Annotation | Education has entered the market place: any education that is offered has to be financially viable. The thesis of this paper is that even in the market place, many of the features of traditional adult education may find a place. In order to understand that place, it is necessary to see that the process itself is the educational product to be sold to a new educational clientele: third age learners. This paper was presented at the Association for Educational Gerontology (AEG) Annual Conference at Keele University in July 1997. (RH). |
