AnnotationThe focus of research was to develop a health education programme (HEP) suitable for older people, a curriculum, and an appropriate scale to measure behavioural changes in health habits. Two pilot studies are reported, which led to further developing and refining of the HEP. This paper was presented at the Association for Educational Gerontology (AEG) Annual Conference at Keele University in July 1997. (RH).
