Annotation | This edition of the Canadian Journal of Aging is an outcome of the 1995 special symposium at the annual Scientific and Educational Meetings of the Canadian Association on Gerontology. The symposium's goals were threefold: to examine the range of proposed changes to social security, such as raising the age of retirement; to explore how these changes might affect the health and well-being of older people; and to explore these issue within an international context. The articles reflect these goals with reference to changes in social policy affecting older Canadians. (RH). |
