| Annotation | Aromatherapy combined with massage is a holistic treatment which has been reported to have both physical and psychological benefits. In this article, the authors report on the physical and mental benefits of aromatherapy massage for patients in a unit for mentally ill older people. Increased responsiveness, calmness, improved circulation, increased appetite, and improved joint mobility were among the beneficial changes noted in the patients. (AKM). |
