Annotation | Under the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, local authorities are required to publish a community care plan every year. The plan is intended to inform the public about the changes, developments and priorities which the local authority and the health authorities are committed to progress in partnership with the private and voluntary sectors, and the local community. This document sets out the service plans for Sheffield which Sheffield City Council's Family and Community Services and Housing Departments and Sheffield Health have agreed to be the priorities for 1996 and 1997.
