Annotation | The Seniors Independence Program (SIP) is a major funding programme of Health and Welfare Canada. One of its key principles is older people's involvement in the issues which affect them. This publication provides information about the research projects approved by SIP between 1 April 1990 and 31 March 1991. Each province's or territory's projects have been organised by categories: women; rural; native/Inuit; ethnocultural; Alzheimer's disease; elder abuse; disabilities; drugs; alcohol; medication awareness; caregiving; self-help and mutual aid; and community resources.
